I just got an email from one of the Vagina Monologues directors. She said that they had a lot of problems and won't be able to do the show this year.
Well that just sucks.

Hello! I got here via the link you left at Feministing (http://feministing.com/archives/008460.html).
I think this project is really awesome. And, oddly enough, my name is Jamie, too! ^_^ I'm bookmarking so I can follow along as you go.
I'm a DivaCup user, myself, and I'm trying to convince my two younger sisters to switch (one of them is pretty much convinced, the other is afraid of the size. Oh well). Alternative menstrual products are fascinating!
Anyway, enough of my blabbing. Time for me to go see if my school's library has a copy of "Cunt". Unlikely. >.<
first off, got here thru feministing.
second, bravo - when i was your age, i found it too embarrasing. glad to know thats changing.
third, may i suggest some research into the Wester FREQUENCY of menstral cycles? there is a lot of evidence to support suggestions that we have too many (maybe literally twice what a healthy woman should have)..
